Bookshelves

One thing I miss about the attic in the old house was the storage in the eaves. There was a section that I used as bookshelves, and it kept every one of my Doctor Who books within easy reach. As this picture shows, I’ve only got one shelf dedicated to them now – with the rest up in the attic tucked away.

I stopped counting how many of them I wound up with. Every one of the “New Adventures” books is upstairs, as well as a smattering of Target books. Most of the ones kept downstairs are from the later BBC Books range.

The rest of the bookshelf is filled with some graphic novels, Dilbert books and Beach Boys/Brian Wilson related books. There aren’t any classic works of great literature kept there, because I don’t really them all that often…if at all. Like my television viewing, my reading seems to be focused in on things that I know I’ll like. There’s not too much adventure there.

Truth be told, I should probably work to change that.
