Back To Reality
I’ve started about three or four posts, and none of them seem to come out right – so they languish in the “draft” folder, probably never to come out.
Tonight ends our vacation to Charleston, South Carolina – and neither of us wanted to come back. Of course, we had to – with those pesky jobs and pesky classes to attend.
Still, I feel like I could have stayed the rest of my life down there and it really was depressing to have to come back here to this town. The trip was a real eye opener as to just how shitty the town (cough) city I live in is. They really do consider themselves a city here, with their lopsided “growth” plan and poorly laid out streets. The best thing to do would be to demolish the whole area and plant a garden.
I digress. I also have to go and do some homework now, as the real world comes crashing into view no matter how hard I try to deny it.

I was at Charleston this Spring before we left SC. I hope to get back, soon, for a beach visit!
My wife’s uncle and aunt live in Sumter, SC, which is around the corner from Charleston so to speak. Hope you had a good time down there. I know when we went down there on vacation, we had a ball and didnt want to leave.
*sigh* It sounds wonderful there. Really glad you had a great time. But have to say, really glad you will be back at work. After all this time, I can finally say for sure. I hate the 6.
